Financial Assistance
Alliance Volleyball wants to provide access to as many young volleyball players as possible, regardless of their financial situation. Alliance never provides a “full ride” to any athlete, but we do our best to help families that demonstrate need by matching a percentage of the fees paid by the family from our financial assistance budget. Typically, a financial assistance award will range from 10% to 20% of the player’s total fees, based on demonstrated need. Assistance is only valid for club fees; it may not be applied to extra equipment/clothing, travel or hotel costs.
Each year, Alliance budgets a percentage of gross revenue to our financial assistance budget, plus we hold a fund-raiser event every season to enhance that amount. Funds for financial assistance are limited and are allocated on an as-needed/as-requested basis.
Anyone who works an Alliance event can earn a set $15/hour rate (depending on the work being done) that can be applied to their player’s fees. So, if your family requests financial assistance, you may get an award PLUS the ability to earn even more credit to your balance.
Installment plans for club fees require a 40% down payment at time of commitment, with three 20% installments due on Jan 1, Feb 1, March 1. Families receiving financial assistance may request an extended installment plan with two additional installments of April 1 and May 1.
