If a player tests positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed and is awaiting a test result, contact your coach and provide all pertinent details and follow the guidelines below.
Close Contact Definition
A person within 6ft of someone who tested positive for 15+ minutes in a 24 hour period.
Players/Coaches that are awaiting COVID-19 test results:
If a player or staff member has taken a COVID-19 test for any reason, we ask that they not attend any volleyball activities until they receive a negative test result or complete the quarantine period after a positive test.
Players/Coaches who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 90 days:
FROM THE CDC:People who have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19—excluding people who have had COVID-19 within the past 3 months--will need to follow the instructions above.
People who have tested positive for COVID-19 do not need to quarantine or get tested again for up to 3 months as long as they do not develop symptoms again. People who develop symptoms again within 3 months of their first bout of COVID-19 may need to be tested again if there is no other cause identified for their symptoms.
Day symptoms begin or exposure date is day 0.
